Precautions you should follow in the pre-diabetic phase

Diabetes is a killing disease for which science has not yet discovered a permanent cure. Few years back it was very uncommon disease and many less people were victim of it but now it has spread on a larger scale and many populations suffer from it. Basically high level of sugar in human blood leads to this dangerous disease. It could be genetic but it’s not necessary in all cases. Some people with no diabetic background are also exposed to get this disease. However, the treatment of diabetes can hold on this disease for a little longer but it does not offer a permanent solution. If you have any one in your family with this disease then you should go to a diabetes clinic in Dubai at once and get yourself checked. If your blood’s glucose-insulin system is working well then very good but if not then you will be in pre-diabetic phase.  In that case you are diagnosed with increased blood sugar and it is at initial stage then you have a chance to save your life some more healthy years.

We’ll discuss some tips which will be helpful in your pre-diabetic phase:

1: Full stop to a sedentary lifestyle: It refers to a lifestyle where a person sits all the time and walks very less. Mostly office workers are very prone to this lifestyle. So they should stop doing this and try to do following

  • Take a walk after 3 hours straight working
  • Take stairs instead of lifts
  • Morning exercise before work
  • Try to stand up more in office for your chores

2: Increase physical activity: Increase in physical activity will increase insulin sensitivity of cells. Either join a gym or else start regular exercise at home. It has proven to be very helpful to provide healthy lifestyle to a diabetic.

3: Quit smoking: Smoking has countless harmful effects on our health. Besides lungs problems, smoking also effects out blood circulation and other systems. If you want to save yourself from dangerous level of diabetes then you should instantly say no to smoking.

4: Lose weight: Mostly people who get type 2 diabetes are obese or overweight. And if you are in pre-diabetic phase then it is very much likely to get fat around their organs due to over eating. Adapt healthy food and drink a lot of water. Do not eat oily and fatty food that could be very harmful to your health.

5: Eat natural: Try to intake more natural food, herbs or high fiber diet. Have minimal intake of sugar in coffee/tea, packed food.  Find out here now more information in this regard.
